Where it all started

Totex Garments was founded in 1965 by Taha Hendy and Wafaa Zahra, ever since it has been expanding and growing in its industry. Totex started off domestically selling sleepwear and quickly entered the external markets such as the United Kingdom by diversifying into making and selling uniforms for schools across the UK and Egypt.

Totex has been providing schools in the United Kingdom with a substantial quantity per year for the past two decades. Thus, quickly gaining our strong position as a market leader in supplying uniforms for schools. We also export to Canada, the United States, Saudi Arabia, Emirates, Yemen, Libya, and Australia. Throughout these years Totex has been continuously innovative through acquiring new machines and creating the most efficient ways to create the final products.

To keep up to date with all these advancements, Totex is certified by the OECO-TEX institution and has also qualified for the ISO 9001 certificate, all of which helps maintain our reputation abroad along with that in Egypt.

Innovation

Totex strives to install the latest technologies, systems, and machines that all contribute to the efficiency of production. For example, the installation of the Gerber and ERP systems.Totex is known to use cutting edge technology such as, but not limited to, the Shima Seiki knitting machine along with the Conti Complett sewing and linking machine.
